Workload

The workload that i did this week was quite a lot i spent a good amount of the week completely on this alpha to get it in the best conditions i could get it in. I added in a tutorial level where player's can introduce themselves into the mechanics of the game, i also added in a pause screen, main menu and controls options as well into the game. In terms of mechanics i added in a slide and thought out the crouch as i thought a slide mechanic would be more useful for this type of game. In terms of visual aspects i added in a skybox and fog in the game to give the background a good visual effects to the game, I also made models for the game to give the player a sense of what the art style direction would look like. Another big asset i added in would be the arms of the character, i made models of the arms to look like a robotic type arm... For the arms i added in animations for the basic things like idle, running, jumping, wallrunning, grappling and telekinesis as well.

State of the game

The current state of the game is fairly good for the playtest, there is no game breaking bugs or big issues in the game at the moment. I guess the biggest things that i need to work on would be the models of the platforms and maybe added in some legs models for the player to see where is he jumping on to.. I do believe that the game to perfectly suitable for the alpha playtest because of the way i made the game really gives the players an good idea on what the game is and the direction it is going in..
